Mamataliyev clarified that his response was misinterpreted and became a subject of public discussion. "According to official data, the salary of deputies is 58,432 soms. Although there is a fund of 80,000 soms, this money is intended for expenses related to car repairs, fuel, drivers, and interaction with voters," he added.
The speaker also urged journalists and bloggers to refrain from creating "blacklists" and spreading rumors about possible departures of deputies from the Jogorku Kenesh.
Mamataliyev emphasized: "All our actions comply with the law."
Previously, one publication reported that deputies' salaries could range from 100,000 to 150,000 soms, based on the speaker's words.
Additionally, it is worth noting that besides the base salary, deputies are entitled to various allowances, including those received for holding a position and chairing committees.
