The first stop of the inspection was the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction, where plans for the construction of a modern building were presented. The head of the Cabinet emphasized that the protection of reproductive health is a strategic priority and instructed the relevant ministries to complete the design work and find funding sources for the implementation of this project as soon as possible.
Kasymaliev also visited the Bishkek City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital, where he expressed dissatisfaction with the delays in the construction of a new building, which was supposed to significantly ease the burden on the hospital. "Delays in healthcare, especially in children's institutions, are unacceptable. This concerns the safety and lives of children. The construction must be completed by June of this year. I will come to check the adherence to deadlines, and if they are violated, serious consequences will follow," he noted.
In addition, the head of the Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance to promptly prepare proposals for equipping the hospital with the necessary equipment and to complete the work by April of this year. He emphasized that he would monitor the implementation of these instructions.
At the end of his trip, Kasymaliev visited the Chui Regional Unified Hospital named after E. Akramov, which is one of the busiest medical institutions in the region, receiving up to 18,000 patients a year and performing about 6,000 surgeries and births. He instructed the Ministry of Health and other relevant agencies to consider the possibility of constructing a new building on the hospital grounds to consolidate all services into a modern medical cluster.
As a result of the visit, instructions were given to the relevant agencies and the Bishkek city administration to address the identified issues and coordinate efforts within the framework of modernizing the healthcare system.
