Initiative for a Woman as UN Secretary-General
The head of the Kyrgyz delegation also noted that the United Nations itself should be a role model in matters of equality."After nearly eight decades of the UN's existence, it is time for a woman to be appointed as Secretary-General, and this has long been overdue," he added.
Composition of the Kyrgyz Delegation at the Session
At the 70th session of the commission, Kyrgyzstan is represented by a delegation that includes representatives from the Supreme Court, the Prosecutor General's Office, several ministries, and the Ombudsman Institute.The delegation participates in plenary sessions, thematic discussions, and numerous side events.
