The appointment of Ishenapysova was made by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic. Previously, she held the position of head of the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis. The position of Chief State Sanitary Doctor was previously held by Ryspek Sydygaliev, who was detained at the end of February by the investigative department of the State Committee for National Security on charges of corruption.
