According to Forbes data for 2024-2025, among the most influential women in the world are leaders of governments and major financial institutions who shape the global economic and political agenda. Ursula von der Leyen ranked first in this list, followed by Christine Lagarde, Giorgia Meloni, Claudia Sheinbaum, and Mary Barra in the top five.


The list of the most influential women in the world (according to Forbes) is as follows:


- Ursula von der Leyen (Germany/EU) — President of the European Commission. She tops the ranking due to her influence on the economy and politics of the European Union, as well as her important role in international geopolitical issues.
- Christine Lagarde (France) — President of the European Central Bank (ECB). Her actions significantly impact the financial stability of the Eurozone and global monetary policy.
- Giorgia Meloni (Italy) — Prime Minister of Italy. She became the first woman in this position, leading one of the leading countries in Europe.

Also in the top ten most influential women are Abigail Johnson (Fidelity Investments), Melinda French Gates (philanthropist), and Jane Fraser (Citigroup).
