The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic recommends refraining from travel to Afghanistan and Pakistan


The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports an increase in tension at the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan and recommends that its citizens refrain from traveling to these regions.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this situation is accompanied by an increase in military activity.

At the same time, the ministry noted that air traffic in Pakistan remains unchanged, and the airspace is open for flights. Citizens of Kyrgyzstan, if necessary, can leave the country while adhering to safety measures.

Kyrgyz citizens in Afghanistan and Pakistan are advised to be especially vigilant, avoid places with large crowds and potentially dangerous areas, and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities.

Additionally, it is recommended to carry identification documents and contact details of diplomatic missions, as well as to keep up with official news.

In case of emergencies, citizens are advised to contact the diplomatic representations of Kyrgyzstan.
