According to new rules that will come into effect on May 1, 2025, access to the park is allowed exclusively for electric vehicles. Cars with gasoline, diesel, and gas engines are subject to strict restrictions.
Social media users also note that vehicles with internal combustion engines and hybrid cars are sometimes spotted in the park. Owners of the latter claim that they were previously denied entry.
Comments express opinions that exceptions may be made for some visitors, which causes dissatisfaction among other park guests.
Response from the Park Administration
After the publication of this material, a message was received from the park administration. It states that entry for vehicles with internal combustion engines to Ala-Archa remains restricted, with primary access granted only to electric vehicles.
Administration representatives explained that the vehicles featured in the video were on park territory under temporary permits related to ongoing economic and infrastructure work, including the setup of recently constructed facilities. Construction materials, furniture, and other necessary goods are being brought into the park.
It was also clarified that a limited number of permits have been issued to service vehicles that support the operation of facilities within the park, including cafes and retail outlets, as well as to employees of the National Academy of Sciences when necessary.
The administration emphasized that such permits are temporary, and mass entry of vehicles with internal combustion engines into the park is not allowed. Once the current work and deliveries are completed, the entry regime will fully comply with the established rules.
