Kokulov's disputes led to restrictions for deputies

The tightening of censorship in the Jogorku Kenesh is related to the statements of the founder of "Not Sugar"

Deputy Erulan Kokulov became the reason for the tightening of censorship in parliament when he began using the podium for his personal speeches. In response, Speaker Marlen Mamataliyev stated that from now on, only faction leaders would be allowed to speak, and only on "important issues," with topics needing to be agreed upon in advance.

Despite negative feedback from the public regarding the speeches of deputies, which sometimes raise questions about compliance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, parliamentarians continue to address relevant issues that concern the population.

It is worth noting that Erulan Kokulov has repeatedly made statements that his colleagues considered personal and called for not using the podium for "disputes." In particular, he commented on the fine imposed on him by the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for improper parking, as well as accused journalists of "misrepresenting his statements" and the existence of a "journalistic mafia." Kokulov's speeches often escalated into public conflicts.
