According to information provided by The Washington Post, the Pentagon has submitted a request to the White House for over $200 billion to continue military operations against Iran. This amount significantly exceeds the funds already spent on the operation.

According to sources from the publication, the requested funds will be used to increase the production of critically important weapons that have been depleted during the attacks on Iran.

Some high-ranking officials from the U.S. administration believe that the chances of this request being approved are extremely low. Sources claim that many Democrats in Congress will oppose this initiative. It is also reported that over the past two weeks, the Pentagon has presented several different funding proposals, and it is still unclear what specific amount is ultimately planned to be requested.

According to unconfirmed reports, the costs of military operations in Iran have already exceeded $11 billion in the first week of the conflict. The Financial Times reported that since the beginning of military actions, the Trump administration has used stockpiles of critically important munitions that were intended for many years, including long-range "Tomahawk" missiles.
