In particular, Abdykerimov accuses the arrested Eldar Jakypbekov of acting against him at the direction of Kamchybek Tashiev, the former head of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). The entrepreneur also mentioned his health, noting that he has undergone five surgeries and has faced a stroke and heart problems.
According to Abdykerimov, his life changed drastically after the revolution in Kyrgyzstan. He claims that in a short time, he lost everything—his business, health, family—and is now alone in London.
In his appeal, he shares his painful reflections: "When you are on the brink of life and death, you start to perceive the world differently." He noted that he worked on his business for about 30 years and provided jobs for many people, but in less than three years, his achievements were destroyed.
Moreover, he expresses disappointment in the betrayal by people he trusted. Abdykerimov claims that while he was fighting for his life, those around him began to divide and appropriate his property.
In conclusion of his appeal, he stated his intention to share more about his life journey, business, and the circumstances that led to the collapse of his company.
It is worth noting that on September 8, 2023, Sharshenbek Abdykerimov was arrested in absentia. As reported by the GKNB, several large assets associated with him were returned to state ownership. In November of last year, Kamchybek Tashiev, who headed the security service, claimed that Abdykerimov had not paid excise tax on alcoholic products.
