The Center for Information Security under the State Committee for National Security has opened in the building of the old State Registration on Aitmatov Avenue.

Today, March 23, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov officially opened the Center for Information Security, located in a renovated building on Ch. Aitmatov Avenue, where the State Registration Service was previously situated. This was reported by the press service of the agency.

According to GKNB representatives, the establishment of this center is an important step towards strengthening the national cybersecurity system and enhancing the security level of the country's digital infrastructure.

The center will focus on the following key tasks:

Creation and certification of software and hardware solutions for the public sector;

Monitoring and responding to cyber threats, developing modern tools for data protection;

Conducting expert assessments and training qualified specialists in the field of cybersecurity.

The GKNB noted that the new institution is fully equipped with modern server and analytical equipment, which will allow not only to effectively counter cyberattacks but also to support the operation of critically important digital services in the republic.
