Montenegro has expressed its readiness to develop cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

During the official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Ervin Ibrahimović, to Kyrgyzstan, a meeting was held with the Prime Minister of the country, Adylbek Kasymaliev, where the expansion of bilateral cooperation was discussed.

The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported on the objectives of this meeting.

During the negotiations, the parties expressed interest in deepening relations and strengthening partnership ties. Kasymaliev emphasized the importance of developing cooperation in areas such as the economy and tourism, and noted that the opening of an honorary consulate of Montenegro in Bishkek could significantly contribute to the expansion of mutual connections.

Ibrahimović, for his part, expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and confirmed Montenegro's readiness to implement joint projects and initiatives, according to the press service's statement.

The prospects for cooperation in the areas of trade, economy, agriculture, and energy were also discussed, as well as issues of humanitarian and sports exchange.

At the end of the meeting, the Kyrgyz side invited the Montenegrin delegation to the Second Global Mountain Summit scheduled for 2027 under the auspices of the UN, as well as to the VI World Nomad Games.
