Chinese corporation to develop charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in the Kyrgyz Republic

As a result of the visit of the Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev to China, Kyrgyzstan and Chinese companies reached an agreement on joint work in the field of creating charging stations for electric vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the trip, the minister visited the ShuiFa Group factory and corporation located in Zhuhai, where he learned about their activities and met with Yang Bin, the deputy director of this corporation and a member of the Party Committee.

As a result of the negotiations, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic and the ShuiFa corporation, aimed at developing energy infrastructure, including charging stations and energy storage systems.

Additionally, Minister Ibraev met with Yulin Lyan, the founder and CEO of NUCL New Energy Tech. They discussed opportunities for collaboration in the field of infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations and the implementation of innovative solutions.

Ibraev also shared information about current projects for the construction of charging stations in Kyrgyzstan, to which Lyan expressed readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Furthermore, the delegation held meetings with representatives of Zhejiang Anfu Energy, which is engaged in the production of charging stations for electric vehicles. The parties discussed opportunities for equipment supply and technology localization for Kyrgyzstan.
