First-category reservists will be required to pay 70,000 soms



All men aged 22 to 40 who have not completed military service or chosen an alternative option must pay 50,000 soms and undergo 30 days of training. This decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.


Men with higher education under 30 years old, who are in the first category of reserve, will have to undergo similar training but with a payment of 70,000 soms.


The conditions for payment for alternative service have also changed.


Citizens called up for family reasons must pay 18,000 soms, those with limited fitness due to health conditions and religious beliefs must pay 25,000 soms each. For those wishing to perform socially useful work, a fee of 25,000 soms is required, as well as the completion of a specified volume of work.


Payments must be made in installments, with no less than one-sixth of the total amount due each quarter. The term of alternative service begins from the moment of conscription.
