At the moment, Chingiz Aydarbekov, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, is being interrogated at the Main Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, according to information received by the editorial office of Kaktus.media.

Aydarbekov arrived for the interrogation in the evening and has not yet left the agency's building.

The reasons for his summons to the interrogation remain unknown.

Previously, questions arose around Aydarbekov regarding his potential return to parliament. After Kuanychbek Kongantiev resigned his mandate on March 10, Aydarbekov's name was next on the list of candidates. However, the Central Election Commission did not make a decision to transfer the mandate to him, explaining this by the need to clarify certain points through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The former deputy himself publicly expressed dissatisfaction with the prolonged verification, noting that his biography and activities had been checked multiple times over the years of his work in the diplomatic sphere and public service.

In addition, Aydarbekov had previously stated that there is a discrediting campaign against him, which is related to the emergence of accusatory publications on social media and YouTube. He denied these accusations, calling them false and detailing why they do not correspond to reality, including regarding smuggling, a visa note, and an apartment. He also claimed that he had previously faced pressure related to his position on the issue of Kempir-Abad.
