Multilateral negotiations were held in Kabul, gathering representatives from Central Asian states. This meeting was initiated by the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi.

Deputy Foreign Ministers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan attended the meeting. The issues discussed covered a wide range of topics, including political cooperation, strengthening regional security, as well as developing economic ties and transnational corridors.

Despite the extensive agenda, the participants did not reach any specific agreements or decisions by the end of the meetings.

The format of these consultations has sparked interest among experts. Within the framework of the "Kabul format," representatives of the "Taliban" did not invite traditional strategic partners — Russia and China — to the discussions. Analysts believe that this may indicate Kabul's intention to create an independent platform for regional cooperation, excluding the influence of major external powers.
