According to him, the case was initiated against the Polish-Belgian non-governmental organization "Open Dialogue Foundation" (ODF), which published materials recommending sanctions against the bank due to its alleged involvement in schemes circumventing the embargo directed at Russia.

According to the court's decision, ODF made serious accusations but did not provide sufficient evidence. The court ordered the organization to remove all disputed materials, publish the full text of the decision on its website, and compensate legal costs amounting to approximately 1,500 euros.
Alagozov also reminded that another bank in Kyrgyzstan, "Keremet," has already been under sanctions from the USA and the UK due to suspicions of circumventing sanctions against Russia. Additionally, "Kapital Bank" has also been included in the UK sanctions list.
He emphasized that sanctions have an accusatory nature, and neither the USA nor the UK has yet presented specific evidence of violations.
According to the press secretary, the court's decision regarding "Bakay Bank" confirms Kyrgyzstan's commitment to international norms and the protection of its business interests in international jurisdictions. "Kyrgyzstan is always ready to demonstrate full transparency and legality in the operations of its financial institutions," he added.
We remind you that recently the countries of the European Union approved the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, which affects both Russian banks and cryptocurrency exchanges, as well as their structures in other countries. This package included 22 individuals and 45 organizations from Russia, Hong Kong, China, India, Thailand, and Kyrgyzstan, including the "Tolubai Bank" and the "Eurasian Savings Bank." Previously, the banks "Keremet" and "Kapital" were sanctioned by the USA and the UK. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan stated that the republic strictly adheres to international obligations and maintains an open dialogue with the European Union to prevent circumvention of sanctions. A proposal was also made to create a working group to address the issues that have arisen.
