In the village of Belovodskoye, located in the Moscow district of the Chui region, the sale of decorative artificial cherry blossom trees, 1.5 and 2 meters tall, has begun.

With the start of the pre-holiday season in the administrative center of the district, where large trading markets and catering establishments are concentrated, trade has become more active.

In local stores, the price for a 1.5-meter artificial cherry blossom tree is 1500 soms, while the larger one, 2 meters tall with an abundance of branches and lush foliage, can be purchased for 4000 soms.

This cherry blossom is also known as Japanese cherry and belongs to the subfamily Plum. Its name is associated with the external resemblance of its flowers to those of cherries and apricots, as well as with its bright blooming in spring, which gave it the name "cherry blossom."

In anticipation of International Women's Day, fresh flowers are also available on the shelves:

- Tulips – 130 soms each;

- Alstroemerias – starting from 1200 soms per bouquet.

Despite the changeable weather, trade continues actively. "We offer flowers outside, even in the rain. If we stay at home, depending on the weather, the flowers we prepared for March 8 will remain unsold," shares one of the sellers.
