It is worth noting that the high season at Issyk-Kul lasts from mid-July to the end of August, so it is advisable to book summer vacations in advance.
The top 20 also includes four Russian tourist destinations: the island-town of Sviyazhsk in Tatarstan, Sevastopol in Crimea, the village of Teriberka on the Kola Peninsula in the Murmansk region (the location where the famous film "Leviathan" was shot), and the Barguzin Nature Reserve on Baikal.
