The Tale of the Ungrateful Owl

HAWK AND OWL
Once upon a time, there was an owl. One day, she fell seriously ill and could not fly out of her nest for food. Then the owl turned to the hawk:
— Hawk, my hero, do a good deed — help me.
The hawk agreed. He began to feed the sick owl and take care of her. The owl got better.
One day they flew out together to hunt, but they couldn't catch anything. And then the owl had a wicked thought. She said to the hawk:
— I am hungry, and therefore I will eat you.
— How can that be? — the hawk was surprised. — I nursed you back to health when you were sick, I saved you from death, and you want to repay good with evil!
— Only a fool responds to good with good, — said the owl. — Don't you know that you should only care for yourself!
And the owl prepared to pounce on the hawk. The hawk became angry, curled up into a ball, and soared into the sky. Then, spreading his wings, he dove down and sank his claws into the ungrateful owl.
The owl fell to the ground and immediately breathed her last.
