According to him, there are 120 schools operating in Bishkek, which can accommodate only 104,117 students, while the total number of learners is 261,107.
The Deputy Minister also provided data on educational institutions in various districts of the capital:
- Sverdlovsky District — 35 schools with a designed capacity of 29,732 places and 66,747 students;
- First of May District — 27 schools, designed capacity of 20,962 places, 58,085 students;
- Leninsky District — 36 schools, designed capacity of 30,402 places, 91,487 students;
- October District — 22 schools with a designed capacity of 23,021 places and 44,788 students.
