The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, has instructed the Ministry of Education to expedite the development of an electronic platform for transferring students between educational institutions.

As reported by the press service of the Cabinet, this decision was the result of a meeting with heads of government agencies and departments of the presidential administration, where issues related to the implementation of modern digital solutions in the fields of education and tourism were discussed.

Currently, more than 1.5 million children are studying in 2,170 state and municipal educational institutions across the country. However, the process of transferring students between schools is still carried out manually, which creates opportunities for corruption and uneven burdens on educational institutions.

“We have successfully implemented electronic enrollment for the first grade, which parents have already gotten used to. Now it is necessary to bring order to the transfer process as well. The system should automatically display available places in classes and eliminate the human factor from the decisions made. This will relieve school administrations and make the process clearer for parents,” noted A. Kasymaliev.
