On November 13, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov participated in the ceremony of laying the capsule for the reconstruction of the national complex "Manas Ordo" during his working trip to the Talas region.
At the beginning of the event, a theatrical prologue dedicated to the epic "Manas" was presented to the audience, followed by a video demonstrating the project for the complex's renovation.
According to the project, all existing buildings will be renovated, and the complex will become a unique cultural space for Central Asia, capable of accommodating up to 10,000 visitors per day.
The President noted that "Manas Ordo" is a sacred place where the spirit of the centuries-old history of the Kyrgyz people, their traditions, and nomadic life is felt. Every stone of this place speaks of the greatness and high moral qualities of our people.
"The reconstruction of this complex is an expression of respect for our heritage, a desire to preserve it for future generations and to revive eternal cultural values, as well as to strengthen the spiritual center of our nation," added Sadyr Japarov.
He also recalled the words of the famous writer Chyngyz Aitmatov: "We exist thanks to our ability to remember our past and look to the future."
"The epic 'Manas' is a spiritual wealth that holds the genetic code and history of the Kyrgyz people. We will be able to preserve and enhance our national spirit by relying on our roots and eternal values," the president emphasized.
Citing archival data, he reminded that the formation of these places began back in 1976 with the establishment of a literary-ethnographic museum, and later in 1990, the "Mausoleum of Manas" was opened. During the celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the epic "Manas," the complex was transformed into "Manas Ordo."
Since then, no major renovations have been conducted, and the current reconstruction is the largest in the last three decades. "Manas Ordo" will become not only a spiritual center for Kyrgyzstanis but also a place of attraction for foreign guests, scholars, researchers, and tourists.
A modern congress hall, galleries for art and folk crafts, as well as guest houses and administrative buildings will be built on the territory of the complex.
"The renewal of this center will promote tourism and the culture of the Kyrgyz people, as well as give international recognition to the world of 'Manas.' This will enhance the prestige not only of Talas but of the entire country," summarized Sadyr Japarov, adding that the updated "Manas Ordo" will become a symbol of the revival of the spiritual culture of the Kyrgyz people.
In conclusion, President Sadyr Japarov visited the tomb of Manas, where a memorial prayer was recited. ```
