Today, November 13, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, visited the Talas region on a working trip.
As part of his visit, he participated in the ceremonial laying of the "time capsule" in the new town "Balastan," which will be located in Talas.
While discussing the project, the president emphasized the importance of ensuring safety at construction sites and creating comfortable conditions for workers.
The presidential representative in the Talas region, Ermat Jumayev, provided information about the project:
“The construction of the 'Balastan' town will occupy an area of 7 hectares. The new center will be located in Talas, at O. Shambetov Street, No. 70, near the airport. It is planned to create recreational and entertainment areas for all ages, including bowling, a museum, a cinema, and shops. The area will also be designed as one of the most modern and attractive places in the region. Additionally, the delivery of special hydro-robots from China is expected.”
The project is being implemented under an agreement between the Talas city administration and the state enterprise "Kyrgyzkurulush," with funding coming from the republican budget. The total cost is 1 billion 300 million soms.
