During the conversation, the leaders touched upon topics of strengthening cooperation in the political sphere, as well as in the areas of financial technology and artificial intelligence.
Sadyr Japarov noted that, unlike many other countries, Kyrgyzstan does not have reserves of oil and gas. He emphasized that the main wealth of the state is its educated youth, many of whom are actively developing in the IT sector.
Additionally, the President of Kyrgyzstan highlighted the significance of the Genius Act, adopted by President Trump, which regulates stablecoins and is considered one of the most progressive pieces of legislation in the world.
Japarov also spoke about current initiatives for implementing digital financial instruments in the country, including the launch of the national stablecoin - KGST and the creation of a state crypto reserve.
Donald Trump, for his part, warmly welcomed his Kyrgyz colleague and noted the positive dynamics in the relations between the two countries.
The President of the USA expressed confidence that the continuation of constructive dialogue at the highest level would contribute to further development of cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable development and security for the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and the USA.
