Today, November 6, a meeting took place in Washington between the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov and the President of the United States Donald Trump as part of a working visit.

Discussing key issues of bilateral cooperation, the leaders examined opportunities to strengthen relations between Kyrgyzstan and the United States, including aspects of the political sphere, financial technologies, and artificial intelligence.

During the conversation, Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan, unlike some other countries, does not have reserves of oil and gas, and that the country's most valuable wealth is its educated youth, who are actively mastering the IT sector.

Sadyr Japarov also highlighted the importance of cooperation in the field of financial technologies, mentioning the Genius Act law passed by Trump, which regulates stablecoins and is considered one of the most advanced laws in this area.

The President spoke about the steps being taken to implement digital financial solutions in Kyrgyzstan, such as the launch of a national stablecoin - KGST and the creation of a state crypto reserve.

Donald Trump warmly welcomed Sadyr Japarov and noted the positive development of bilateral relations.

Trump expressed confidence that constructive dialogue at the highest level would contribute to the further development of cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives aimed at ensuring sustainable development and the well-being of the peoples of both countries.
