On November 5, as a result of the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov to Egypt, several important bilateral documents were signed aimed at developing cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Egypt.
Among the signed documents:
- Agreement between the governments of the two countries on the exemption from visa control for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports;
- Agreement on cooperation in the economic, scientific, and technical fields;
- Agreement on joint activities in the field of agriculture;
- Agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education;
- Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy of Egypt;
- Memorandum of understanding between the National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan and the General Authority for Investment of Egypt;
- Memorandum of cooperation between the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations of Kyrgyzstan and the Ministry of Awqaf of Egypt;
- Memorandum of understanding between the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan and the Central Bank of Egypt.
