Compared to last year, trade increased by 89.1%.
The main part of imports from Egypt consisted of pharmaceutical products, with a volume of $3 million. Other goods included spare parts for aircraft (HS CODE 88, $745 thousand), food products ($584.3 thousand), and other categories of goods.
In turn, exports from Kyrgyzstan to Egypt included various aircraft parts worth $1.2 million, as well as petroleum products worth $971.3 thousand.
It is worth noting that on November 4, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, visited Egypt on an official visit at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
During this visit, high-level negotiations are planned, during which the parties will discuss key aspects of bilateral cooperation and exchange views on international and regional policy issues.
