Germany increases oil imports from Kazakhstan

According to DW, Germany has significantly increased its oil imports from Kazakhstan, raising supplies by 25% within one month.

In October, 225,000 tons of oil were delivered to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline system, which is 25% more than in September, according to KazTransOil.

Supplies of Kazakh oil to Germany through the Druzhba system began in 2023. In 2024, Kazakhstan exported 1.5 million tons of crude. It is expected that by 2025, the volume of supplies to Germany will reach 1.7 million tons, with further plans to increase annual volumes to 2.5 million tons.
