Changes in the indicative balance of petroleum product supplies for 2025 have been agreed upon by the ministries of energy of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan, as reported by Kaktus.media.

"The indicative balance for 2026 will be adopted at the level of 2025, with the possibility of subsequent adjustments depending on actual consumption in Kyrgyzstan," the Ministry of Energy added.

Kyrgyzstan insisted on increasing the diesel fuel quota by 100,000 tons, as well as an additional increase in the aviation kerosene quota by 60,000 tons. Furthermore, proposals for increasing the quota for the next year were also considered.

According to the indicative balance, the republic annually imports 1.2 million tons of duty-free fuel: 650,000 tons of gasoline and 550,000 tons of diesel fuel. However, due to the constant growth in consumption, this amount is insufficient.
