Daniyar Amangeldiev also noted that Kyrgyzstan continues negotiations with Russia regarding fuel supplies. He assured that the country's government will not allow a shortage of fuel and lubricants in the republic's market. "We will do everything possible to maintain stable prices and prevent shortages in our market," he added.

Furthermore, Daniyar Amangeldiev clarified that the decision on diversifying supplies will depend on the economic situation and transportation conditions. He also mentioned possible supplies from Azerbaijan. Earlier, the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan reported that the republic had approached Russia with a request to increase the volumes of fuel supplies at a preferential rate. According to bilateral agreements, Russia supplies Kyrgyzstan with 1.2 million tons of fuel annually without tariffs.
