According to information provided by the president of the Association of Oil Traders, Kanat Eshatov, in an interview with the Kabar agency, sufficient reserves of gasoline and diesel fuel have been formed in Kyrgyzstan. These reserves will help mitigate temporary supply disruptions and prevent shortages.

He noted that recently the volume of oil product supplies to the country has decreased due to scheduled and emergency repairs at some Russian oil refineries, which are the main suppliers.

“The reserves of oil traders have decreased by approximately a month, but no shortages are anticipated. The availability of reserves allows us to stabilize the market and control prices,” Eshatov added.

In addition, he reported that the Association of Oil Traders, together with the government, is actively working to increase fuel supply volumes to minimize the risks of shortages in the market.
