According to the agency "Kabar," Eduard Kubatov, head of the Federation of Mountaineering of Kyrgyzstan, announced his plans for March 2026, when he intends to ascend Kanchenjunga, known as the third highest mountain on the planet.
Kubatov has previously achieved significant success by climbing K2 in Pakistan without the use of oxygen tanks, setting a record for both his country and the world. Currently, the climber is recovering and preparing for his next challenge.
After completing the ascent of Kanchenjunga, his next goal will be Nanga Parbat (8,200 m) in Pakistan, which will continue his series of high-altitude achievements.
