Swimmers from Kyrgyzstan won four gold medals at the Head Trophy in Germany


The traditional international swimming festival Head Trophy-2015 took place in Munich (Germany).

According to the official website of the competition, more than a thousand swimmers from 12 countries participated in this tournament.

Kyrgyzstan was represented by 11 swimmers at this tournament, who won nine medals: four gold, three silver, and two bronze.

Nikita Paukov won two gold medals at this festival, being unmatched in backstroke at distances of 100 and 200 meters.

In the same discipline, Ramazan Taimatov won gold in the senior age category (born in 1998) at the 100-meter distance.

Vladislav Shuliko finished first in the 200-meter butterfly, and the second medal for Kyrgyzstan was earned in the 100-meter event, where he finished second.

Among the participants in the 1996 age category, Sultan Bukeiev won two silver medals, finishing second in both the 200 and 100-meter backstroke events.

In the same distance, Kirill Vais took third place, and in the 100-meter freestyle, Stanislav Karnaukhov brought home one bronze for the team.

Elizaveta Rogozina and Temirlan Karataev also finished just shy of medals, taking fourth places.
