Former Minister of Culture of Kyrgyzstan Sultan Raev presents his novel in London

Sultan Raev's novel "Kara," which has already been awarded the "Best Novel of 2014" prize, is currently the author's main work. The former minister worked on this book for about 20 years. According to the author, "Kara" is a philosophical reflection on the human journey and the role of man in the world.
At the book festival, which will take place from November 6 to 9 in London, in addition to the novel by the Kyrgyz author, works by authors from Kazakhstan (Kairat Zakiryanov, Elena Bezrukova, Mukhtar Shakhanov), the United Kingdom (David Perry, Nick Rovan, Hamid Ismailov, Robert White, Farideh Khayat), Canada (Maxim Korsakov), Scotland (Shahsaneh Murray), and other countries will also be presented. As part of the presentation, there will also be a discussion of the works of the authors featured at the festival with well-known writers, literary critics, and book publishers.
It is worth noting that the Kyrgyz former Minister of Culture will also give a lecture at the University of Cambridge titled "On the Contemporary Literary Process in Central Asia." Following the festival, a round table dedicated to fiction will be held at the BBC headquarters.
