At the charity festival "Kyrgyzstan - the Country of Skiing and Winter Recreation - 2014," over 65,000 soms were raised.
On February 15, the Fifth Tourism Festival "Kyrgyzstan - the country of skiing and winter recreation - 2014" took place at the "Toguz-Bulak" ski base.
The aim of the annual festival is to promote Kyrgyzstan as a country for winter sports, tourism, and recreation.
More than 100 people participated in the festival, and the total amount of tickets sold was 65,700 soms. By the decision of the festival organizing committee, all funds raised will be directed to support the Ak-Suu Women's Psychoneurological Boarding House located in the Issyk-Kul region. The collected funds will be transferred in mid-March of this year.

The Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, the JICA Alumni Association, the Bishkek Business Club, the "Toguz Bulak" ski base, and the Union of Hiking Tourism.
For reference: The "Kyrgyzstan - the country of skiing" festival has been held annually since 2010. All funds raised at the festival are directed to assist vulnerable groups of the population. Among the organizations that received funds from previous festivals are: Children's Tuberculosis Hospital No. 1, the temporary children's shelter "Nurmeyaisa", the Children's Oncology Center, the Republican Blood Center, and children's homes "Boorukerdik" and "Altyn Uya" in the city of Osh.
