Tourism Destination Management Program


The project "USAID Business Development Initiative" (BGI), within the tourism development component, will hold a presentation of the Call for Applications for the "Tourism Destination Management Program."

The goal of the competition is to identify the most interesting and practically feasible ideas and initiatives for the development of specific tourist destinations in order to provide technical support for their implementation. Project representatives will explain how private sector representatives and associations can submit applications with their own vision for the development of the tourist destination they choose.

The presentation will take place in all 7 regions of the republic:
Bishkek – February 25, at 13:30 – Jannat Hotel
Talas – February 27, at 9:30 – Kanat-Ata, 57 Sarygulov St.
Osh – March 2, at 14:00 - 108a Shakirov St. (near Taatan)
Jalal-Abad – March 3, at 14:00 – Tian-Shan Restaurant
Batken – March 5, at 9:30 - Bai-Kut Hotel, 1 Aipov St.
Naryn – March 3 at 9:30 - Naryn City Hall (assembly hall)
Karakol – March 5 at 9:30 - Tagai Tai Hotel, 29a Tynystanova St.

Representatives of the private tourism sector, associations, and local self-government bodies can participate in the presentation. No more than 2 people from one organization may participate. Pre-registration is mandatory as the number of seats is limited.

Registration is required by February 24.

Tourism Destination Management Program


The tourism development component of the "USAID Business Development Initiative" project will hold a meeting regarding the application competition for the "Tourism Destination Management Program." The meeting will provide information about the competition.

The purpose of the competition is to identify interesting and feasible ideas and initiatives for the development of tourism sites and to provide support for their implementation. Representatives of private entrepreneurs and associations will receive information from project representatives on how to apply for the competition for the development of the selected tourism site.

The presentation will take place in all 7 regions of the country:
Bishkek – February 25, at 13:30 – Jannat Hotel
Talas – February 27, at 9:30 – Kanat-Ata, 57 Sarygulov St.
Osh – March 2, at 14:00 – 108a Shakirov St. (near Taatan shopping center)
Jalal-Abad – March 3, at 14:00 – Tian-Shan Restaurant
Batken – March 5, at 9:30 - Bai-Kut Hotel, 1 Aipov St.
Naryn – March 3, at 9:30 - Naryn City Hall (assembly hall)
Karakol – March 5, at 9:30 - Tagai Tai Hotel, 29a Tynystanova St.

Representatives of the private tourism sector, associations, and local self-government bodies can participate in the presentation. Only two (2) representatives from one organization can participate. Due to limited seating, pre-registration is mandatory.

Registration must be completed by February 24.
