Poet, prose writer Tash Miyashev


Poet and prose writer T. Miyashev was born in the village of Papai in the Karasuu district of the Osh region into a peasant family. He graduated from high school in Osh in 1951 and from the Osh Pedagogical Institute in 1967. From 1967 to 1969, he was a student at the Higher Literary Courses under the Union of Soviet Writers in Moscow.
He began his labor biography in 1951 at the editorial office of the newspaper "Lenin yolu," worked as a teacher at the "Bolshevik" high school, inspector at the Karasuu Regional Education Department, and as an employee of the district executive committee and the Osh regional executive committee. In 1958, he was appointed the responsible secretary of the Uzgen district newspaper "Alga," and worked as a correspondent and head of the department at the editorial office of the regional newspaper "Lenin yolu," as well as a literary consultant for the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan in the Osh region. From 1969 to 1972 and from 1987, he served as a special correspondent for the newspaper "Kyrgyzstan madaniyaty" in the Osh region, and from 1972 to 1975, he was the chairman of the regional committee for television and radio broadcasting in Osh.
He has been published since 1960. His first poetry collection "Tunguch kuu" ("First Melody") was published in 1966. In 1968, a collection of stories "Makhabat menen koshtooshu" ("Farewell to Love") was released. In 1987, the book "Poklon bessmertiyu" ("Homage to Immortality") was published in Russian.
He has been a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1959 and a member of the Union of Soviet Writers since 1959.
He was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor. In Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin."
