Poet, Prose Writer Ulan Tokombaev (Ulan-Sher)

He began his work biography in 1958 as a center worker at the M. V. Frunze Agricultural Machinery Plant, and in 1959 he moved to a precision engineering plant. Since 1967, he worked at the State Committee for Television and Radio of the Kyrgyz SSR. In 1969, he was appointed chief editor, and from 1978 he worked as an editor in the department at the "Kyrgyztelefilm" studio. From 1973 to 1978, he served as the responsible secretary of the magazine "Literary Kyrgyzstan," while simultaneously being a correspondent for "Literary Newspaper" in Kyrgyzstan.
His creative biography began in the mid-1960s. He writes in Russian. His first book was a collection of novellas and stories titled "The Happiest Man," published in 1977. In 1979, a collection of poems and poems titled "Love Does Not Pass" was published. He is the author of several scripts for feature-length and short films, as well as film novellas.
A member of the CPSU since 1968, and a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1981.
