Prose Writer, Poet Mendi Mamazairov

She began her labor biography in 1965 as an editor at the State Committee for Television and Radio of the Kyrgyz SSR.
From 1966, she worked as a teacher of the Kyrgyz language and literature at the V. V. Mayakovsky High School in the Karasuu District, and from 1974 to 1980, she was a correspondent for the newspaper "Mugalimder gazetasy."
She began her creative biography in 1964 as a poet. Her first book was the poetry collection "Salamatsyzby kun!" ("Hello, Sun!") published in 1979. The story collection "Nesher" ("Downpour") was released in 1975. M. Mamazairova also tries her hand at the genre of drama. In 1985, she created the play "Chrysanthemums for the Baby." Some of the writer's works have been published in Russian.
She has been a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1981.
