In the semifinals of toguz korgool among men's teams at the World Nomad Games, taking place at the cultural center "Rukh Ordo" in Cholpon-Ata, the teams Kyrgyzstan-1 – Republic of Altai and Kyrgyzstan-2 – Kazakhstan will compete.
In the quarterfinals, Kyrgyzstan-1 defeated Germany with a score of 2:0.
The Republic of Altai beat the Uzbekistan team also with a score of 2:0.
Kyrgyzstan-2 defeated Russia-Volga – 2:0.
The Kazakhstan team won a hard-fought match against the USA-1 with a score of 2:0.
The games were held in a team format using the "Playoff" – "wall against wall" system.
As a result of the games, the 9th place was taken by the Austrian team, 10th by Mongolia, 11th place by the USA-2 team, and the men's team of France finished last in the tournament table.
A total of 12 men's teams participated in the tournament: Austria, Germany, USA-1, USA-2, France, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia-1, Russia-2, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan-1, and Kyrgyzstan-2.
The total prize fund for the toguz korgool competitions is 1 million soms, of which 300 thousand soms are allocated for individual competitions, with 150 thousand for men and 150 thousand for women. For 1st place, 75 thousand, for 2nd place 50 thousand, and for 3rd place 25 thousand soms.
The remaining 700 thousand soms will be distributed in the team standings: 1st place 400 thousand (200 thousand for men and 200 thousand for women), 2nd place 200 thousand (100 thousand each), and 100 thousand (50 thousand each) for 3rd place.
