The II international festival "Salbuurun" will take place at Issyk-Kul in Cholpon-Ata from September 3 to 7.
The festival will be held as part of the World Nomad Games. "Salbuurun" showcases the hunting process in practice, as well as all the traditions associated with it. Falconry clubs and associations from nearly 30 countries around the world will participate (Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, China, Pakistan, Mongolia, Korea, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Germany, Ireland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and others).
The goal of the festival is "to strengthen the friendship of peoples and to assist in the cooperation of falconry clubs worldwide in preserving the cultural heritage of hunting with birds of prey."
