Preparations are underway in Bishkek for the II International Theater Festival of Small Forms 'Impulse'. From September 9 to 13, artists from Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Russia, Sweden, and Lithuania will present their fairy tales and monodramas on the stage of the Arsen Umuraliev Bishkek City Drama Theater.

- The main goal of the International Festival 'Impulse' is to integrate Kyrgyz theatrical art into the global space. We want to unite peoples through the means of theatrical art, conduct a dialogue among festival participants, initiate the creation of intercultural projects, and present new trends in theatrical art to the audience. The festival will feature highly professional and talented figures of dramatic arts from different countries around the world, - reported IA Elena Myagkova, head of the theater's press service.

The festival will open on September 9 at 18:00. On this day, guests will see the premiere - "Princess Turandot". A fantasy based on the fairy tales of C. Gozzi will be performed by the artists of the A. Umuraliev BGDT under the direction of the People's Artist of Kazakhstan B. Parmanov. On September 10 at 18:00, A. Kanevsky's "Thesis from Our Yard" will be presented in the vision of G. Panibratets (Ukraine, performer - Honored Artist of Ukraine V. Bondarev). On September 11 at 18:00, "Novecento" by A. Baricco (director V. Tereshchenko, performer V. Zhukov, Russia) will be shown. On September 12 at 19:00, the audience will enjoy a performance with live electronics, vocals, elements of drama, and clowning titled "Soundtrack of My Life". Its author and performer is Elias Feingersch from Sweden. The concluding production will be the work of director A. Vizgirdas "I Am Waiting for You, Beloved" from the Latvian theater "Piliess" based on Dario Fo and Franca Rame.

The festival program also includes master classes in directing and acting, as well as a round table where the results of the second 'Impulse' will be announced.
