Jewish. Born in the city of Mykolaiv, Ukrainian SSR. Graduated from KSU (1961). Worked as the head of the plasma theory laboratory at the Institute of Physics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, since 1993 - Professor at KRSU, Chief Researcher at the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the field of theoretical and mathematical physics. Honored Scientist of the Kyrgyz Republic. More than 130 scientific works published, including 7 monographs. Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 7 candidate dissertations have been defended.
