Armenian. Born in Tashkent, Uzbek SSR. Graduated from FPI (1972).
Worked as a laboratory assistant, engineer, junior and senior researcher, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Automation, Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz SSR, associate professor, professor at BPI, director of JSC "Too-Ken", professor at KGMI, and since 1996 - professor at KRSU.
Specialist in the field of machine dynamics and impact processes in machines.
Academician of the IA KR (1991), International IA (1994).
Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Supreme Council of the Kyrgyz SSR (1989). Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kyrgyzstan in the field of science and technology (1977). Published more than 150 scientific works, including 8 monographs and 2 inventions.
Under his supervision, 6 candidate dissertations have been defended.
