Russian. Born in the village of Molodetskoe, Tselinny District, Karaganda Region.

Graduated from the Kazakh Mining and Metallurgical Institute (1959).

Worked as an engineer, junior and senior researcher at the All-Union Research Institute of Nonferrous Metals (Ust-Kamenogorsk), junior researcher, senior researcher, scientific secretary, and from 1977 - head of the laboratory at the Institute of Mining and Geology of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, professor at KGMI and KRSU.

Specialist in the technology and economics of ore deposit development, rational comprehensive subsoil use, mining-economic assessment; design of mines, systematic optimization of mining projects.

Published more than 240 scientific works, including 17 monographs, 13 inventions, and 1 textbook.

Under his supervision, 6 candidate dissertations have been defended.
