Graduated from Moscow State University (1956), postgraduate studies at the Physics and Energy Institute (1965).
Worked as a junior researcher, head of the laboratory at the Physics and Energy Institute of the State Committee for the Use of Atomic Energy in Obninsk, deputy director of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR in Novosibirsk, head of the laboratory at the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Kirghiz SSR, director of the Scientific Research Center for Mathematical Modeling of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, since 1998 - head of the laboratory at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in applied and computational mathematics.
Awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor (1971), medals of the USSR. More than 140 scientific works published, including 6 monographs.
Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 14 candidate dissertations have been defended.
