Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kara-Kochkor, Kara-Kulja District, Osh Region.
Graduated from KGFIC (1976), postgraduate studies at VNIIFK (Moscow, 1979).
Worked as a lecturer, deputy dean, associate professor, first vice-rector, and since 1992 - rector of KGFIC.
Specialist in the theory and methodology of physical education, sports training, health-related physical culture, and higher education pedagogy. Awarded a Certificate of Honor from the Kyrgyz Republic (1991), and a medal from the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).
President of the Olympic Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic (1994).
Honored Worker of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).
Published more than 90 scientific works, including 3 monographs, 6 educational and methodological manuals, and 1 textbook.
Under his supervision, 1 candidate dissertation has been defended.
