Orozobakov Toktosun (1937),

Doctor of Technical Sciences (1990), Professor (2000), Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR in the field of Science and Technology (1984)

Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Bosteri, Issyk-Kul District, Issyk-Kul Region.

Graduated from Przhevalsky State Pedagogical Institute (1958).

Worked as a school teacher, junior and senior research fellow, head of the laboratory, deputy director for research, and since 1998 - director of the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Specialist in the field of physical electronics.

Awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995), medal of the Kyrgyz Republic (1995).

Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Kyrgyzstan in the field of Science and Technology (1986).

Honored Worker of Science of the Kyrgyz Republic (1998). More than 80 scientific works published, including 3 monographs, 4 author certificates, and 1 patent of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Under his supervision, 2 doctoral and 5 candidate dissertations have been defended.
