Togusakov Osmon Asankulovich (1953),
Doctor of Philosophy (1993), Professor (2002), Laureate of the State Prize of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of science and technology (2002)
Kyrgyz. Born in the village of Kyzyl-Aryk, Issyk-Ata district, Chui region.
Graduated from KSU (1979), postgraduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Political Science of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic (1985), doctoral studies at the Institute of Philosophy and Political Science of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty, 1992).
Worked as a lecturer at KGFI, junior researcher, senior researcher, scientific secretary, deputy director, and since 1992 - director of the Institute of Philosophy and Political Science of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Specialist in the fields of epistemology, logic, and socio-ecological forecasting.
Academician of the International Public Aitmatov Academy (1994) and the Academy of Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1996).
Published more than 110 scientific works, including 6 monographs.
Under his supervision, 3 doctoral and 15 candidate dissertations have been defended.
